Watts & Wright || The Spyre Studio

In preparation for the launch of Watts & Wright to the market in early Spring, last week we released the incredible story and philosophy behind the interior design for the development - proudly designed in house, by the Spyre Studio.

Watts & Wright’s interiors are an extension of Spyre’s design philosophy; understated yet deeply considered. The in-house design team has worked in close collaboration with Cavill Architects and a handpicked selection of artisans who are masters in their craft. This fusion of design and artistry has realised a collection of homes that are intuitive, tactile and timeless.

High end apartment sales maintained strong momentum in Brisbane throughout July – with clearance rates and time on market results positioning the river city as the nation’s leader in winter sales activity.  Low forecasted supply continues to drive urgency for those seeking inner city apartment living, particularly within the prestige sector. CBRE forecasts Brisbane apartment delivery to average approximately 4,800 dwellings per year over 2025 – 2029, a third of the estimated demand of 16,000 units.

Down South in Melbourne, confidence is returning to the off plan market, motivated by expectations of lower interest rates. According to CBRE, Melbourne’s residential market has shown a modest bounce back in early 2025 after prior declines, suggesting stabilisation.

Back in Queensland on the Gold Coast, market activity remains buoyant with an impressive pipeline of projects in comparison to its capital city counterpart. That being said, demand still remains for premium locations, with the most recent Colliers Market Overview recording the average entry price of an off the plan apartment on the Gold Coast in excess of $2 million as of July 2025.

Spyre’s debut Melbourne project, Hampton Ltd, has officially emerged from the ground, marking a major construction milestone for the Brisbane-based developer’s first Victorian foray.

Comprising just 20 apartments and three exclusive townhomes, Hampton Ltd is now officially out of the ground, with vertical structures taking shape across all three buildings, with construction progressing rapidly under builder Abewolf.

The trio of buildings has been designed by MLD Studio to create a more intimate scale and a stronger sense of individuality compared to conventional multi-residential offerings.

Studio Brent Lee’s interiors feature warm, natural finishes and generous spatial planning, supporting the project’s owner-occupier appeal.

HAMPTON LTD

Construction at Hampton Ltd has seen strong momentum throughout July, with major structural milestones achieved across both Buildings A and C. In Building A, the Dincel walls for Level 2 have been successfully poured, and the stairs connecting the Basement to the Ground Floor have also been formed and poured. Work on the rooftop (Level 2) has progressed significantly, with the deck, steel reinforcement, post-tensioning, and service penetrations all completed and ready for a concrete pour in the coming days.

Over at Building C (Part A), the Ground Floor Dincel walls are now in place, and the slab decking for Level 1 has commenced. The Ground Floor deck has also been poured following the completion of all reinforcement work and rough-in services for plumbing and electrical. On Level 1, the Dincel walls have been erected and poured, and the suspended slab deck is now complete, with reinforcement works nearing completion ahead of the next concrete pour.

MORAY HOUSE

Construction at Moray House continued to progress steadily throughout July, with several major milestones achieved across multiple levels. The verticals to Level 6 and the underside of Level 7 have now been completed, and the Level 6 slab has been successfully poured, marking another key step in the building's vertical structure.

Internal works are also advancing well. On Level 1, walls and ceilings have been sheeted, while Level 2 has seen the continuation of services installation along with the commencement of framing. Level 3 is also seeing steady progress, with services being installed and glazing installation nearing completion.

Meanwhile, Level 4 has undergone formwork stripping, rerouting of the static concrete pump line, and completion of structural infills. On Level 5, back propping has been installed to support Levels 6 and 7, and steel has been placed for the upstanding balcony walls in preparation for the next pour. Additionally, the car lift structure has seen significant headway, with its roof now approximately 70% complete. We look forward to keeping you updated as work continues to advance.

ARC RESIDENCES

Progress continues at ARC Residences, with several key milestones reached this month. Most notably, the concrete slab pours for both Level 4 and Level 5 have been successfully completed, marking significant vertical progress on the building structure. In the basement, services installation is ongoing and steadily advancing.

On Level 1, a number of exciting developments have taken place. The pool has now been sprayed, waterproofing to all window openings is complete, and glazing installation is officially underway. Back props have been removed, and the external planters have been waterproofed and filled with soil, adding the first touches of landscaping to the project. High-level service installations on this floor are also continuing.

Meanwhile, on Level 2, the formwork has been stripped in preparation for the next stage of works, which includes waterproofing and service installations. We look forward to bringing you more progress updates next month.
