Welcome to the latest edition of Spyre’s monthly update, where we share our latest news, construction updates and project releases for the month.

In February, Spyre's Design Director, Kent Pinel, travelled to Melbourne to visit a number of our supplier's showrooms. With multiple developments now well under construction, these visits are a critical component in the successful delivery of Spyre's signature quality.

Families are being offered what could be their last chance for luxury riverside living near Brisbane City.
Property developer Spyre Group has lodged development approval for a site on 3-9 Byron St, Bulimba: expecting to create a collection of 15 boutique apartments by the Brisbane River.
The property marks one of the last remaining riverside sites in the area, just 8km from the city’s CBD.

GLASSHOUSE
Groupline Constructions has continued to make significant progress on-site, with several key milestones achieved throughout the month.
Notably, the rooftop spa mosaic tiling has been completed, while the rooftop pool coping is currently in progress. On Levels 3 and 4, the final coats of paint are well underway, bringing the interiors closer to completion. Externally, the rendering process has been finalised, further enhancing the building’s façade.
Ground-level works are also progressing steadily, with the intricate crazy paving on floors and walls taking shape. Balustrades and balcony paver pods have been successfully installed. Internally, the microcement render has been completed, and the feature shower plinths have been poured, honed, and are moving toward finalisation.
In terms of essential services and approvals, the commissioning of plant and equipment is nearly complete, and crucial fire inspections have been successfully passed. Additionally, the plan sealing process has been officially lodged with the Council, marking another important step toward project completion.
We look forward to sharing further updates as Glasshouse Burleigh Heads moves closer to its final stages.
HAMPTON LTD
This month has seen Abewolf making great strides across all buildings.
The bulk excavation for both Buildings A and C is now largely complete, paving the way for the next stages of development. Preparations for the basement walls have advanced, with all piles detailed in readiness for steel reinforcement and Vertical Agi Drains. The steel reinforcement for the basement walls of Building A has been successfully installed, while work on Building C is nearing completion. Additionally, shotcreting has been completed for the basement walls of Building A, with the team now progressing through Building C. To ensure a premium look and feel, the shotcrete has been carefully troweled, delivering a high-end finish compared to standard basement walls.
Meanwhile, site preparations for Building B (Townhouses) are well underway. The site cut has been completed, and the piling process is in progress. Over at Building C, excavation of the elevator pits has begun, with steel reinforcement now underway. This crucial step is expected to be completed early next week, allowing for the concrete pour to follow soon after.

MORAY HOUSE
Moray House continues to advance at a strong pace, with key milestones achieved both on-site and off-site.
This month, scaffolding has been completed up to Level 3, marking a crucial step in the structural progress. Reinforcement steel, post-tensioning, and in-slab services have also been finalised on Level 3, with the suspended slab pour scheduled for the first week of March. Additionally, fire stairs have now been poured and completed up to Level 3, enhancing accessibility and safety within the structure. The shotcrete retention wall waterproofing system has also been successfully completed up to this level.
Off-site procurement is nearing completion, with 90% of all materials secured, including long lead-time items. On-site, key installations have taken place, including the arrival and assembly of the Nordic car lift components. A major milestone was reached with the delivery and installation of the Level 2 private plunge pool, adding to the project’s premium features. Meanwhile, underslung services have commenced in the basement, further supporting the building’s essential infrastructure.

ARC RESIDENCES
We are excited to share the latest progress at Arc Residences with you.
This month, we’re pleased to announce that the ground floor podium is now complete, following the successful completion of four separate pours. Additionally, the precast structure for the upper mezzanine level has been successfully stood, bringing us one step closer to the next phase of construction. In another major development, the birdcage scaffold has been erected to support the 9-meter-high formwork deck, further advancing the building's structure.
